Geographical Location: This First Nation is located between 50 and 350 Km from the nearest service centre to which it has year-round road access.

Government:
The Canim Lake Band is unique within the local native community where they have developed their own laws governing the election of band council. Presently, they have five council members consisting of the Chief and 4 councillors.
