MicMac Sleds


The Micmac people lived on the east coast of North America where the United States and Canada meet. They used a sled for pulling loads in deep snow. It was called a “Taba’gan”. In many parts of North America today, children play with sleds called toboggans, which were named after the Micmac sleds.
